Charlie Turns 4

Charlie was so excited for his birthday party.  Although he was not so excited about getting bigger. He's a smart cookie - he knows he has it good as a kid.

And how excited was he, to have his teachers come!  I wasn't sure they would come, but they did and he was thrilled.

The next morning was his actual birthday.  I took cupcakes to his class.  When we got there, he was wearing his 'King for the Day' crown.  He loved it so much he wanted to take it home with him.

And the funniest thing about his birthday:  that morning, we woke up to find 4 mushrooms growing in our houseplant!
