I Love Paree!

We arrived in Paris yesterday morning to some CRISP, COOL weather.  The flight was unremarkable, save for the fact that the Cathay seats we were in were perhaps the most uncomfortable I have ever been in.  They were trying to mimic business class seats that don't bother the person behind when you lean back (ie you slide down), but they didn't slide down much so you end up sleeping (or not) sitting up straight.  Yuk.

When we arrived, the immigration guys pulled aside about 20 passengers and took their passports....curious.

We snuck into our flat early (early check-in is 1pm, but we went to the key box and lo, there the keys were, so we took them and went to the flat!)

Our flat seems to be in the kid's clothing outlet area.  There were loads of stores with kids' clothes, some a bit risque..
Then we made our merry way to breakfast
and then the Eiffel Tower, as we wanted to make the most of the beautiful, sunny day.

Despite the looooong lines and our tiredness, it was a lovely day.

Here is Uncle Ray being a Wally (as in....Where's) in the midst of a protest:

Kate got her picture with a mummy (not me!)

Charlie got a bit cold

and so did Kate
After a late lunch (and some bubble chasing)

we headed home on the train, for a nap
because we were very tired
