Year 5 was tough one. A lot of emotions, a lot of out-of-control-ness. She is really trying to improve, and we've had a few days of pretty much perfection. Touch wood! On the other hand, she is the most mature 6-year old I've ever met, and I have met quite a few recently! So I guess I can't have everything - it takes a lot of energy to be mature and grown-up (don't I know it!), so she needs to let it out sometime...and I'm glad she can let it out with me and not other people!

The funny thing is, Kate got one of those doll-head things for her birthday that you can style hair and do make-up for. I guess the live version is better, but we could have saved money if I'd known!
